Three-day long Network Security Workshop ended

A three-day advanced workshop on BJP Routing and IXP and RPKI, DDos and Networking Security concluded on Saturday to enhance the skills of engineers in protecting the country's cyber network. 80 engineers received this training at the workshop held at Hotel Sarina in Banani. It was a regular program jointly initiated by the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) and ICT Business Promotion Council (IBPC). The workshop was ended through handing over the certificates to the participants.

ISPAB President Md. Imdadul Haque handed over the certificates and crests at the closing ceremony. At that time, Saiful Islam Siddiqui, Senior Vice President of the organization, Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan, General Secretary, and Abdul Qayyum Rashed, Joint General Secretary, and Deb Pehlan, Senior Trainer, Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) were present.

APNIC's International Trainers Md. Abdul Awal, Md. Abdullah Al Nasser and Qazi Shamsad Tahmid were the trainers in this three-day workshop along with Deb Pehlan.

In conclusion, the ISPAB President expressed hope that Bangladesh will contribute to the global context by developing more international quality network engineers through training and skill development. He also listened to the experiences of some of the trainees. Expressing their satisfaction with the training, the participants laid emphasis on organizing division and region-based workshops outside Dhaka, increasing the time and number of workshops and more practical education.

After listening to the opinion, ISPAB president Imdadul Haque said that the current executive committee will work on the implementation of all the proposals in stages to develop qualified network engineers to keep the country's cyber network safe.
